"The old mattress was about to punch holes in the flesh when suddenly I was Bobinized, so I headed west to seek out new bedroom equipment. From the Bobinizer to the "under prices" to friends & family of Cardi's we shopped. Quality, comfort & price was nice but I couldn't help feeling conned at every stop. Finally at Bob's Discount Furniture we found a really good salesman and signed up for some new stuff. A week later the stuff arrives. First thing they do is lay the old mattress in the ice, snow and salt & start building my new furniture in the driveway. The bed was dinged & dented, the chest needs to be anchored to the wall or it will tip over, and the mattress has fibers ticking out of it. 45 minutes on hold, a disgruntled customer service rep - no apology, no guarantee, no explanations & so I told them to come get the entire mess. Now its on to Rockland's own Brad McCaughey at Warmington's. He actually opened the window & greeted us in the parking lot. Once inside we wondered why we ever went anywhere else. Handmade, high-quality, American furniture that was head & shoulders above anything else we'd seen in all the top stores. Brad is a 30-year furniture expert who knows all the products, their makers, their history & all the techniques used to build them. He went through everything, gave us excellent advice & insight, yet never pressured or conned us. We picked out a new bedroom set that was twice the value of the last one, and also got a great price. A week later two local guys showed up with the furniture. Hard, heavy, top quality merchandise - delivered in perfect condition and on time. Totally satisfied with the product, I called to thank Brad, and he personally answered the phone before the 2nd ring. So forget the hype, the crazy prices, and gimmicks the major stores are spending millions to show you. By all means, shop around, but before you buy - stop in and see Brad McCaughey at Warmington's on Plain Street in Rockland. The Best in the Business, bar none!"
